What’s the difference between a conventional load bank and the ULB WR Series for CDU testing?
Conventional load banks dissipate heat. The WR Series emulates actual server thermal behavior — making it suitable for true CDU performance validation, not just thermal stress testing.
What power range does the WR Series cover?
The modular range is 500 kW to 6.7 MW. Core models are WR750 (750 kW), WR1125 (1,125 kW), and MWR2250 (2,250 kW). Larger configurations of 3 MW, 4.5 MW, and 6.7 MW are also available.
What flow rates are supported?
Flow rates from 10 to 4,500 LPM are supported across the WR Series, with both fixed-flow and variable-flow testing modes.
How safe is the WR Series for unattended operation?
Designed for safe, unattended operation during extended validation programs. Safety features include leak detection with automatic shutdown, integral self-contained drip pan, over-temperature protection, low-flow and pressure monitoring, and pre-test diagnostics.
What certifications does the WR Series carry?
